Once you sign up, you will receive an email to set up your account password. You'll then have access to Econblox' comprehensive Business Economics Specialist courses and can start right away. If you have never studied economics and its application to business, you can expect each of Level 1 and Level 2 to take about 40 hours. If you have previously taken an economics course, it should be less.
After each of Level 1 and Level 2, you schedule an online exam with our proctoring service. A pass is 60%. To get the BESt™ accreditation, you need a 75% or better grade on the Level 1 and Level 2 Business Economics Specialist exams.
At Level 3, we work with you to develop your networking skills and to apply your newly-acquired business economics skills in a corporate, entrepreneurial, government, or not-for-profit setting. Expect to spend 60 hours in gaining current, practical experience at Level 3. The Business Economics Specialist program contains three levels. The first two levels are Business Economics - Consumers and Companies and Business Economics - Countries. You choose which course you want to study first. In Level 3, we help you apply these business principles in live situations of your choice. And we work with you to improve your networking.

Business Economics - Consumers and Companies
In Business Economics - Consumers and Companies, we concentrate on economics topics involving consumers and producers. We analyze real-world situations and decisions facing companies at both a strategic and tactical level. Examples of topics that we cover include principles of supply and demand, consumer behavior, pricing to maximize profit, costs of production, competition and market structure. This course includes an online, proctored test. A course certificate is issued to students that pass this test. To qualify for the BESt™ accreditation program, a minimum 75% grade is required.

In Business Economics - Countries, we work on economics topics that affect companies, consumers, investors, government, interest rates, saving, and economic cycles at the country and international level. There is no Level 3 test. Students who complete Level 3 and meet the Level 1 and Level 2 75% BESt™ grade benchmarks, receive the BESt™ accreditation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Level 1 requires about 60 hours of study. Level 2 requires another 60 hours of study. Level 3 takes about 60 hours of your time. The more time you invest in your networking, the more you will advance. You do it all on your schedule.
You receive certification after completing Level 1 and 2 (Business Economics Consumers and Companies and Business Economics Countries, in any order) and Level 3 (Networking and Professional Development)
You need a minimum of 60% to pass each level. To achieve the BESt™ certification you need to achieve 75% or more in Level 1 and Level 2, which have proctored exams. Level 3 has no exam. In the event that you do not achieve a grade that satisfies you in Level 1 or 2, you can retake the proctored test once every 6-month period at the then cost of the test.
It's neither a degree nor a diploma. It is a practical, real-world certification that you successfully learned key business principles, on your schedule, using tools that are designed for visual learners. Econblox is a for-profit, private company that provides certification, coaching, and a knowledge platform that can boost your career and help you grow wiser in an increasingly complicated world.
Once you have completed the Level 1 or Level 2 material to your satisfaction, you schedule your exam date and time with our proctoring service. You then take a 90-minute, remotely proctored exam at your computer in a quiet setting. You will need a simple computer camera - the same equipment you would require for a Skype or Zoom call.
No, there is no deadline. You learn on your schedule. You pay for Level 1 and Level 2 learning as you progress. After 18 months, you pay $95 per year to retain access to the BESt content, continuing to learn and update your skills at your own pace.
In Level 3, we provide you with further online training that focuses on helping you apply your business economics skills in a real-world setting. You choose where you want to apply your knowledge. We can set up internships or create other projects in which you apply your skills - all in a non-threatening environment. Or, choose to apply your new skills in your current job. Level 3 also helps you develop and apply your business networking skills.
You choose your pace. Each level takes between 40 to 60 hours to complete. That's an estimated 150 hours to complete all levels. If you have a pre-existing knowledge base, it may take you less time. Could it be completed in less than 2 months? Yes, it's quite possible. Most enrollees will work on the program part-time and complete in 6 to 12 months.
